There's nothing Bill doesn't know about producing anCnoc after working at the distillery for 43 years.

An employee at Knockdhu since 1963, he retired in May 2006. In the words of distillery manager Gordon Bruce, "everyone at Knockdhu looks forward to coming to work" and Bill was no exception.

Having lived in the village of Knock since the year he started work there, Bill was nominated as an ambassador by his grandchildren for his "never-ending" tales of the distillery and is described by them as "knowing every inch of the place".
