Seven questions for the Seven Men of Knock

1. When did you start work at Knockdhu?
August 2006, following 12 years at Balblair Distillery and six years at Pulteney.

2. Best thing about the job?
It's not a job, more a way of life.

3. Favourite pastime when not making anCnoc Single Malt?
Dreaming up ways of improving the process and the plant without destroying what makes it so special.

4. Best way to enjoy anCnoc?
With the smallest hint of Knock spring water.

5. Who would you most like to share a glass of anCnoc with?
With the guys who make it. If I could go back in time I'd also like to have shared a glass with John Morrison, who in 1892 'discovered' the springs which supply Knockdhu to this day.

6. What gives anCnoc Single Malt its unique quality?
The skills, patience and experience of the work force; the superb spring water; the size and shapes of the stills coupled with the way they are used.

7. Seven words to sum up a Man of Knock?
Adaptable, enthusiastic, dedicated, humorous, dependable, particular, committed.
