anCnoc 1997 has been bottled in its most natural form – neither chill-filtered nor coloured, and as a result this Vintage may develop a light haze with the addition of water or if kept at a cold temperature. This haze is a natural characteristic of whisky that is unchill-filtered
anCnoc Vintage 1996 was released in January 2011 with only 850 cases of this fine Single Malt Scotch Whisky being made available worldwide. This Vintage was smooth and full-bodied, exuding all the typical Knockdhu characteristics.
Released in January 2010 this Single Malt was warm and rich with a golden amber glow. On the nose there is a complex mix of sherry, spice and honey with a hint of lemons and oranges.
Bottled and launched in February 2008, this Vintage was matured in a combination of bourbon & sherry casks. Those lucky enough to have sampled this Vintage will have been surprised to find a slight peatiness in the taste.
Neither chill-filtered nor coloured, anCnoc 1993 was released in August 2007. Rich and golden in appearance and with hints of vanilla and toffee on the nose, this Vintage was full-bodied with fruity overtones.
1991 was the first anCnoc Vintage offering. Released in 2005, this was a well balanced dram that gave the taste buds a tingle. A special Vintage, hand selected, typical of the Knockdhu Distillery with added complexity developed from Spanish & American Oak maturation.
Some thirty years ago, Spanish and American Oak casks were laid to rest in the shadows of the Knock Hill in the traditional earthen floored dunnage warehouse of the Knockdhu Distillery. With time and crafting under the watchful nose of the Master Distiller, anCnoc 1975 has matured into a finely balanced dram, with remarkable depth and complexity.
