We use local Aberdeenshire peat. Soft wood smoke curls around the fruit rather than drowning it. That’s anCnoc 10 Year Old Peated.
Tasting notes
Ten years in ex-bourbon casks balances sweet campfire warmth with runny honey. Then crisp green apples and Seville oranges.
Colour
Pale gold.
Nose
Campfire, not bonfire. Manuka honey and freshly cut lawn.
Taste
Starts warm, with smoky vanilla. And stays that way, leading to green apples and a citrus hit.
